Crime Drama Sci-Fi?

The new film, Anomie, is branded in the reviews as - see my title. It is a breakneck-paced psychological crime thriller (there's another category.) It is plot-driven and extremely complicated. You may have trouble figuring out all the threads, but don't worry; a particular party explains everything at the end - including how this is a sci-fi movie. It is in Malayalam (South India.) It is so long that it has an intermission. It's ridiculous in many ways, but it has a heart.
